MASS

a study in material, balance, and form

MASS was conceived from matter — a standard metal profile that has long inspired me to explore its potential.
With this project, I set out to challenge myself by designing a simple yet thoughtful object: a stool.
The proportions and spatial arrangement of its elements create a subtle play with the centre of gravity,
making it a delicate and engaging composition from a designer’s perspective.

MASS exists in two interpretations: one crafted traditionally, with precise, fine welding; the other as a flat-pack version,
mechanically connected, designed for practical use in today’s market. Both versions reflect the same structural logic,
yet invite you to question: which is purely designed, and which emerges from construction itself?

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, MASS is stackable, versatile, and a study in material, balance, and form.
